Nature, connectedness and creativity

After 10 weeks of learning, developing, and connecting online, it was finally time to experience everything in real life.
So off I went, on my way to Japan, to meet a group of people from all over the world.
We stayed in a magical place nestled in the forests of Nara — a self-sustaining farm where we got to know each other and share our personal insights on the connection between the forest and nature. There was a full schedule, but the forest — along with Milena and Chie — took such good care of us. The morning walks, the practice sessions, the food, the beautiful farm... what an experience. One that gently and lovingly awakens all your senses. Just as Shinrin Yoku is meant to do. Immersing yourself in the softness of the forest helps you unwind, reconnect with yourself, ground, and clear your mind of noise. What made it even more meaningful and inspiring was the diversity of the group. Everyone came from a different place and background, which deepened the experience. We were united by a shared interest, yet each brought a unique perspective.
Everything came together this week — sessions held deep in the forest, filled with connection, exploration, and creativity.

The perfect ingredients for a natural health prescription.

And after completing the first three practice sessions there, I’m proud to say I’ve earned my certificate of participation. I still have a few more sessions to complete before I can officially call myself a Shinrin Yoku Guide.
